To commemorate the closing of this season’s art exhibition, Slow-Burning Rapture, visit the Schuylkill Center for a ceremonial performance celebrating the Flower Moon at Fire Pond with exhibiting artist Sarah Peoples. Narrated by a mythic musical score and ice sculpture offerings, Peoples will tell the creation story of the Finnish National myth, the Kalevala, to meditate on the cosmic and symbolic connections to this moment in time.
The evening will begin with a short curator-led tour of the exhibition, with a focus on Sarah’s indoor installation. Plus, enjoy cocktails featuring locally foraged ingredients while we gather under the stars to watch this interactive ritual unfold.
This event is free to attend but registration is required.
