Story time and poetry

Local children’s authors take turns reading their books in the Children’s Section all morning, and they’ll be at their tables before and after to say hello. In the Poetry Section, poets including Philadelphia Poet Laureate Raina J. León and the city’s Youth Poet Laureate Emi Wong Shing will host workshops.

For adults and teens

Workshops and conversations run throughout the day on topics like herbal wellness, getting started as an author, overcoming the odds, Black imagination, and stress relief through art and music.
