Great Rugs for a Great Cause! Fair Trade handcrafted rugs in classic, tribal, and contemporary styles, from some of the world’s finest traditional rugmaking areas. Assorted sizes, colors, and price points from student budget to splurge! Proceeds benefit two programs of longtime Philly grassroots nonprofit, SisterSpace of the Delaware Valley. The SODV Artists Collective empowers and encourages women and nonbinary sisters from beginners to professional artists, in creative self-expression through all artistic mediums. The Virginia Giordano Memorial Fund program supports women and nonbinary sisters in the performing arts, both onstage, and behind the scenes with hands-on internships in lighting, sound, artist liaison, and stage crew roles. Ethically imported rugs ensure no child labor was involved, and that rugmakers were paid fairly. Spruce up your space for spring and summer, and feel good about where every penny is going. Everyone is welcome at this event!
