Farm to Photo: Hands That Feed Us captures local foodshed

Start

GRID contributing photographer and Fair Food staffer Albert Yee has combined his expertise into a gallery show that celebrates the Pennsylvania region’s food system – following it from the farms to our tables.

Aptly called the “Hands That Feed Us: A peek into our foodshed,” Yee’s show will kick-off on July’s First Friday (July 1st) at the Gravy Studio & Gallery in Fishtown. The opening reception is sure to be an exciting event, chock full o’ farm fresh photos and local food chatter, but if you can’t make the inaugural event never fear — the show will be on display throughout July for viewing by appointment.

Hands That Feed Us

Opening Reception: Friday, July 1st

6:30 – 10 p.m.

Gravy Studio & Gallery

2212 Speviva St., Loading Dock 1 (between Susquehanna and Dauphin Streets)

While you patiently await the opening of Yee’s show, check out his portfolio (brimming with photos of Philly food and community happenings) here.

On a side note, check out the Gravy space here. The warehouse is also a well-respected vintage motorcycle shop called Liberty Vintage.
