Join West Philly’s Mill Creek Farm as it celebrates its fifth successful growing season!
Johanna Rosen and Jade Walker founded the farm in 2005. With the help of dedicated volunteers, they transformed the abandoned lot at 49th and Brown into a half-acre urban farm. Since then, the farm has educated the local community and provided an abundance of fresh produce.
Proceeds from ticket sales ($25 per person) will benefit the farm, and get you into what sounds like the perfect post-Thanksgiving celebration. The event, held at the Fairmount Waterworks Interpretive Center, will feature live music, food, drinks and a silent auction.
