I’ve been out of town the last couple weekends, and Sunday was my first bike trip to West Philly since the reopening of the South Street Bridge.

It was heaven. Heading from my home in Bella Vista, I hopped on the Spruce Street bike lane, and stayed on bike laned roads all the way to RX (45th and Spruce). It made for a leisurely Sunday morning cruise—perfect for a foggy head and hungry belly.
Speaking of bike lanes, Philly Brownstoner has some promising news (and exciting visuals) on the city’s newly-implemented Bike-Ped plan.
