We here at the Griddle have been dropping a lot of hints about how you should be spending your evening this Saturday, but we’re tired of being coy: Come to our party!
On April 10 (two short days from now!) Grid is celebrating a year in business with a birthday bash at Yards Brewing Company. There will be beer, duh, and free local snacks courtesy of Mugshots Catering, Lancaster Farm Fresh Co-op and Birchrun Hills Farm.
Sue Miller from Birchrun—star of the Grid’s PASA insert—will be providing several wheels of the farm’s excellent cheese. There might even be some Red Cat, recently named “Cheese of the Month” by the Philadelphia Inquirer.
You can also pick up the May issue, mix-and-mingle with fellow Grid fans (and quite a few people from the pages of the mag) and pester us about covering your favorite sustainable stories. Details below.
WHEN: Saturday, April 10, 5 – 8 p.m; no cover
WHERE: Yards Tasting Room, Yards Brewing Company, 901 North Delaware Ave.
