Sip & Shop with Purpose | A Happy Hour for The Community Grocer
Sip & shop with a purpose!
Gather with us for a special evening with the Community Grocer in preparation for their opening day in Cobbs Creek! This evening we aim to support their mission of bringing fresh, nourishing food close to home for West Philly families. In advance of their grand opening, they need help stocking their shelves and who are we if not helpful?!
Enjoy drinks, conversation, and community as we help complete their very first shopping list together. Every item you add goes straight into their opening inventory: fresh produce from local farms, quality proteins, pantry staples, and other groceries for families in the neighborhood. Watch the list grow all night long and be a part of the movement for food sovereignty in West Philadelphia and beyond.
Come raise a glass to opening day and the start of an incredible journey together!

The Community Grocer’s Mission and Vision:
At The Community Grocer (TCG), we believe everyone deserves access to the ingredients to live healthier, stronger lives. By reinventing the corner store, we’re making eating well easier and more accessible for all. Our long-term vision is a network of markets that advance food sovereignty—the right of communities to define their own food systems—to improve health, support local producers, and facilitate local economic development, in West Philadelphia and beyond.
