Meet a Live Red-tailed Hawk, Eastern Screech Owl and African Lanner Falcon

Please note: Due to the popularity of this event, we will offer time slots for your arrival to see the live birds. You will either be assigned to arrive any time between 3 PM and 4 PM or from 4:00 PM to 5 PM.

The first time slot is sold out. Any tickets issued on 8/31 and forward will be assigned the later slot from 4 PM to 5 PM.

If you are unable to make it, it is very important that you cancel your ticket through Eventbrite.

This frees up the available tickets to other guests. Thank you for understanding. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Courtney Douds, founder and owner of Raptor Jawns, is a Master Falconer who has been educating the public with birds of prey since she was a teenager.

Her team of live birds of prey allows for an intimate encounter with the natural world, fostering real connection to conservation through these incredible predators.

Drop by our store on September 19th (during your designated time slot) to meet a Red-tailed Hawk and Eastern Screech Owl, both native to Pennsylvania, and the African Lanner Falcon. You’ll learn about each bird’s individual and natural history, their anatomy and hunting styles, and get a rare close-up view of each species.

This is a drop-in event during your designated time slot, but free tickets are still required. We reserve the right to limit the capacity (at any time) for the safety of Courtney’s birds, our guests, and our staff. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
