Farm Philly Intro to Soil Testing with Penn State Extension
Join us for our first soil testing workshop on Soil Fertility & Nutrients, hosted by the ARC and Penn State Extension! This basic workshop is the first in our 3-part series, intended for beginners, and will include an overview of how soil works, the types of soil compositions you may encounter around our City, how to interpret markers like pH, and how to collect, submit, and understand a soil sample at a variety of sites. All materials will be provided.
This event is free and open to the public, but spaces are limited and RSVP is required. All ages and experience levels welcome!
