Together with a favorite grown-up, Sprouts discover and explore the wonders of nature through sensory focused classes. This program for little ones 18 months to 3 years and features walks, art, music and stories as part of the hands-on, emergent learning approach beloved in our Nature Preschool. Embark on a rewarding journey as a Volunteer Native Planter, where you’ll connect with like-minded individuals, refine your gardening expertise, and delve into the world of native plants. By tending to the Courtyard Garden and Front Entrance Garden at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, you’ll enhance beauty and biodiversity of this important landscape. Tools are provided, but feel free to bring your own. Remember your water bottle, to wear sturdy shoes, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! Volunteer Native Planters meet every Thursday, April 9 to October 29, from 10am-12pm. Registration recommended to stay connected with weather updates.

UltraTrax is coming to the Schuylkill Center to hold a endurance walk on our trails! The route weaves through forest, open meadows, and scenic trails, offering steady elevation gain and terrain that builds with every loop.
