The Wissahickon in August
Meeting at Blue Bell Field Parking Lot (800 W Walnut Lane) Join Debbie Hoellein, Jim McClory, Jill Curatolo, and Peter Curatolo as we hike through a southern portion of the park. Our route will take us through areas of historical and natural interest on both sides of Lincoln Drive, including Historic RittenhouseTown, Saylor Grove, and the site of the McKinney Quarry. We’ll see what some of our favorite plants are doing as the summer progresses. Our 3.5-4 mile route includes some steep and rocky trails, so come prepared with sturdy shoes and trekking poles if you have them. Children 12
