A County Committee, or COC, is a group of local elected gardeners and farmers who support the Farm Service Agency (USDA-FSA), making decisions on how federal agriculture programs are implemented locally and ensuring fair and equitable administration of FSA programs in their counties. During this informal social gathering, you’ll learn about Philadelphia COC members and how to nominate fellow farmers to join the COC. You’ll also have the opportunity to begin the process of registering for a farm number, as well as registering to vote in the upcoming election.
