Experience the source of our project’s inspiration by taking a guided walk of Tacony Creek Park before the premiere of de/composition.
Join us for a pre-show twilight walk of Tacony Creek Park, the source of inspiration for the de/composition: Native Trees, Sonic Roots project.
Led by our good friends at Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership (TTFWP), this guided tour of this under-recognized urban watershed will transport you to a “nature-centered” frame of mind. You will learn about both the hidden treasures and the unique challenges of this park from those whose mission is to steward it to better days ahead.
The entrance to the trail is right next to Bennett Compost, so once the walk is over, you will be ready to sit down with Olney Culture Lab and enjoy the premiere of de/compostion: Native Trees, Sonic Roots.
