Juneteenth Community Connection Hike with Hike+Heal

June 12 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Meeting at Blue Bell Park (800 W Walnut Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19128)
Join Hike+Heal and Friends of the Wissahickon for a special Juneteenth evening hike celebrating freedom, healing, and our shared connection to the land. As the day winds down, we’ll wander the Wissahickon and reflect on those who came before us and the green spaces they deserved to roam freely.
Led by Brandi Aulston and her organization, Hike+Heal, this family-friendly evening hike invites community members and their loved ones to come together in celebration of Juneteenth and the green spaces that belong to all of us. Moving at a relaxed pace, we’ll practice grounding exercises and share moments of reflection.
Bring your friends, family, and neighbors—all are welcome as we celebrate Juneteenth in community. Note: This is not a stroller-friendly hike.
