Nettlemas Forest Forage at Cobbs Creek
Every been interested in foraging, but too worried to try it yourself? Come out to Cobbs and celebrate Nettlemas with a foraging walk on Friday, May 1st!
Take a walk with our Environmental Educator and learn how to confidently identify, and safely forage stinging nettle! Afterwards, join us for a live cooking demonstration to inspire you on ways to cook your own nettles at home.
Nettlemas is a real holiday, originating in southern Ireland. It’s celebrated every April 30th and May 1st, as the stinging nettle comes into its prime picking season 
This is a FREE event, and all ages are welcome!
