UC Green Spring Tree Planting
Join us for our annual Spring Tree Planting on Sunday, April 19!
We invite all our friends and neighbors to join us in creating a greener, healthier, happier West Philadelphia together.
It’s our goal to make this volunteer planting as accessible for as many as possible, so please feel free to join us for one or both ‘crews’ as you’re able. We truly appreciate your time and dedication to greening our neighborhoods!
8AM–10AM PREP CREW
Join us for pre-planting setup work to ensure a smooth and successful planting. This includes bagging mulch, organizing tools and trees, welcome desk setup, etc.
10AM–1PM PLANTING CREW
Join us to form groups to plant trees in the neighborhood and mulch established park trees. Never planted a tree before? UC Green leaders will join each group for assistance.
