Join BirdPhilly for a walk at one of Philly’s less birded parks at Fernhill Park.
Located in Germantown, Fernhill Park, despite being sliced in half by Route 1, is a nice, little park with paved trails, beautiful trees, and open fields that make it ideal for birding.
Let’s meet at the park entrance at Abbottsford and McKean Ave.
No binoculars? No worries! Birding backpacks with binoculars and field guides are now available on loan at all branches of the Free Library of Philadelphia.
