Palestinian Olive Oil Discussion with Equal Exchange

Fair Trade Philadelphia is pleased to host a program with Equal Exchange on their long-standing work with Palestinian olive oil producers.
Olive farming is both economically and culturally significant in the West Bank. Many of the olive trees on these farms have been passed down for generations, reflecting deep ties to land, family, and local heritage. Learn more about the production of olive oil and what the situation has been like for farmers in the West Bank.
We look forward to hearing from Equal Exchange’s Frankie Pondolph, who will lead the discussion and share video interviews to allow us to hear from the farmers and cooperative leaders as well.
