Painterly Prints – Monotypes

An Introduction to monotypes on the etching press at the Soapbox Community Printshop in Philadelphia!

About this event

Want to learn how to create painterly prints on the etching press? Over 3 hours in this analog painting workshop, participants will learn to create unique painterly monotypes with water-based auka inks and plexiglass while getting comfortable using the etching press.

About the Instructor

Dre Grigoropol is an illustrator and multimedia artist. She is a graduate of Moore College of Art and Design. Dre has years of digital art teaching experience. She has a deep passion for the arts and creativity, enjoys painting, is involved in numerous artist groups, and is a board member at the Soapbox. For more, go to Dretime.net

Cost

$40 for Current Members of the Soapbox/$45 for Non-Members

Students will also be charged a $15 materials fee that covers ink, paper, and the use of equipment.
