Walk Around Philadelphia Urban Hike around the Northeast
Walk Around Philadelphia is a segmented 100+ mile walk around the entire city border. The walk happens twice a year, in February and September. Join JJ Tiziou and walk leaders for a day-long walk along to Northeast border of Philadelphia beginning with coffee and donuts at Glen Foerd.
The group will be leaving from Glen Foerd at 8:30am and walking north towards Somerton.
Segments are estimated to take roughly 12-15 miles and 6-8 hours. The terrain may include roads, sidewalks and off-roading in brambles and creek-beds. Mileage, terrain and endpoint may vary depending on choices made by each group.
