This tour also highlights Mt. Cuba Center’s innovative research and plant trials. You will learn how to select the right species for the right place, why it’s important to consciously source native plants for your region, and discover effective methods for managing unwanted pests without harmful chemicals, fostering resilient ecosystems that support pollinators and other wildlife.
Inspire Change and Take Action
This tour is designed to inspire a deeper connection to nature. It seeks to empower you to take meaningful action in your community. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or new to ecological gardening practices, Gardening for Ecological Resilience provides actionable strategies to reduce your environmental footprint, as well as practical skills to support biodiversity and build resilient habitats at home. Two hours, $7 in addition to admission, free for members.
