Creative Writing About Fibers

August 2 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Spend the afternoon in an interactive fibers exhibition, learn poetic forms and construction, create original work inspired by art

Head upstairs to the Terrace Gallery at Cherry Street Pier this August for Weaving on the Waterfront, a colorful and hands-on fiber art exhibit by Pier artist-in-residence Bonnie MacAllister, with featured work by Philly artist Jamie Campbell.

The gallery will showcase beautifully woven and handspun pieces made from recycled materials and natural fibers. The exhibit also highlights a special community project—original weavings created on no-waste looms during free First Friday workshops.
