Tacony LAB 7th Birthday Celebration!

Join us for the Tacony LAB’s 7th Birthday Celebration!

During this special event we will have fabric squares for you to decorate that will be turned into a Tacony LAB quilt! Our staff will be sewing the quilt during the event and you’ll see the quilt come to life! It will be displayed at a separate event.

We will have cake and other refreshments – along with a make and take activity.

First Fridays at the Tacony LAB are about celebrating art & community. Join us for refreshments and art activities that change each month.

Registration is encouraged but not required in order to help us plan.
The Tacony LAB is grateful for the support of the Tacony Community Development Corporation as well as the Tacony Civic Association as we grow our creative community here in Tacony and the surrounding Lower Northeast . Like all of our events, our Maker Markets are free for both vendors and participants!

This registration is not for makers who want to be a vendor at the market. This is for attendees only.

What is the Tacony LAB Community Arts Center? We are a community art center funded by the City of Philadelphia located in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. We are a program of Mural Arts Philadelphia.

At the Tacony LAB, providing accessible and free art is a priority. We offer free classes for adults and children. Our classes range from fiber arts, drawing and painting, to crafting and more. We provide a safe and inclusive space to work on your projects while receiving support from our attending artists and staff. We encourage you to visit during our open studio hours for a tour of all that our incredible art center packs in. We are excited to invite you to be a part of the developing artist community that we have here!
