Come join us for an afternoon of volunteering at Lundale Farm as we continue to build out our educational space – prepare to get hands on!
Trellis Volunteer Day at Lundale Farm
Come join us for an afternoon of working on our Agricultural Learning Center at Lundale Farm! Whether you have a green thumb or just want to lend a hand, we welcome volunteers of all skill levels. It’s a great opportunity to connect with nature, meet new people, and make a positive impact on the community. So far this year, Trellis gardens have grown over 22,000 pounds of produce that has been donated back into the community thanks to volunteers like you!
Tasks will include assembling new tables for the Education Zone in the greenhouse as well as tending to our in-ground beds through harvesting and weeding what is growing there. There may be additional build projects as well! Trellis will provide all necessary tools and gloves, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
Water and snacks will be provided. Please wear close-toed shoes for your safety and we suggest dressing in layers as the greenhouse area can get quite warm, even if it’s chilly outside.
The entrance to the farm is on a curve and comes up quickly! Please slow down as you approach – the entrance is a gravel road. You will drive up a hill and see our greenhouse at the top of the hill. Please follow signs for parking upon your arrival.
