What is Day of the Dog:
August is traditionally known as the unofficial birthday for shelter animals whose day of birth may be unknown. August also happens to be DNYP’s anniversary month; so what better way to honor rescue pups than to host a country-wide event?! Join us for Day of the Dog at Love City Brewing in Philadelphia, PA to celebrate another year of raising funds and awareness for shelters and rescues through yoga and puppies! This class will combine the joy of yoga with the cuddles of adorable rescue puppies and dogs from Philly Rescue Angels. Pints and good times to follow your flow!
Event Highlights:
- 45-Minute Yoga Class: Certified Monarch Yoga instructor Charlotte Howson will lead a mixed-level yoga session while rescue puppies and dogs roam freely, providing cuddles and puppy kisses.
- 15-Minutes of Snuggles: After yoga, enjoy a “snuggasana” session with the pups.
- Post-Yoga Pint: Relax in the tasting room with a pint or mimosa from Love City Brewing (for guests 21 and over).

- Advance Purchase: $42.50
- At the Door: $45 (space permitting)
A portion of all ticket proceeds will be donated to Philly Rescue Angels.
Important Information:
- Bring Your Own Mat: Please bring a yoga mat or towel.
- Limited Space: Space is limited, so order your Pawssport today!
- Respecting The Rescue: The only dogs allowed on the class floor will be the rescue and no food or treats will be allowed on the class floor.
- Spectators are NOT Allowed: To ensure the safety, privacy, and comfort of participants and event staff/volunteers.
- Event Participants: The recommended age is 12+ to attend the class, however, children who are able to behave appropriately in a yoga class are welcome with a legal guardian. We ask all event attendees to have a great time while remaining respectful of those around them.
