Celeste Nicole Preston is a native to the Americas but was born and raised in Uptown Philadelphia. She is a self taught crochet artisan since the age of 16. She is also a fashion designer, environmental designer, farmer, landscaper, educator, serial entrepreneur & community builder.
She is currently diving back into her favorite artistic loves to bring more sunshine into this realm. She sees herself with a storefront and design/class studio. She would also like to see her celestial creations on the runway all around the world.
Named in honor of African storytellers and urban slang, we are a community gallery. A space of story. Stories of our ancestors, the magic in the present, and our intent for the future. We exist to uplift the black, brown, and local communitythrough being a platform for folk artists & local businesses, hosting inspiring events, offering space rentals and catering of nutrient dense food, and soon a Fly High Tea.
We are intentionalabout creating authentic beautiful spaces to share stories, activate our creativity, educate one another, map toward our goals, support one another to see the beauty in ourselves and fly.
