Kids Seed Starting Plant Education & Gardening Workshop

Want to introduce your children to growing fruits and vegetables but not sure where to start? Join us for this fun and educational hands-on workshop to learn how to start seedlings and grow them into veggies!

Workshop Facilitated By :

K’Cee Horne, MS, LBS, CYT200, Clinical Therapist, Yoga Instructor and Community Gardener, Owner of The Moving Brain Integrative Therapy and Wellness

• Learn about sustainability, planting and growing nutritious food

• Learn about the life cycle and needs of a plant, nurturing your seedlings’ growth and importance of growing/protecting plants

• Learn about maintaining a plant journal

• Decorate small terra cotta pots and make your own plant marker

* Plant vegetable seeds to take home

Cost:

Children (ages 4 years and up): $15 per child

Adults (1 8 years and up): FREE with a ticketed child

Admission, Lesson and Activity Materials Included

*Parents Must Stay in the library building for duration of workshop*
