Basketry Basics and Brews at Urban Village

Come on out for a lovely evening of learning and crafting with natural materials! This workshop will guide participants through the basics of making a simple basket with natural materials. Few experiences compare to learning and utilizing ancient human skills to create something personal that’ll last for ages! Finished products can be taken home and used as:
- natural container for precious objects
- home decor
- bio-degradable planter
- most organic koozie at the barbeque
- and so much more!
The goal of this workshop is to help raise funds for Coyote Tracks Programs Scholarship Fund, which annually provides thousands of dollars to local youth and families so they can participate in Nature Connection programming. In addition, we hope this offering can bring community members together around a central theme, while simultaneously supporting local bussiness !
Ages : Ideal for ages 8 and up, but families with younger folks can join and all create one basket together.
Cost: $50 per person
Time : 2 hours, 6 pm – 8 pm
