VU PHL & Sisters Interacting Through Stitches for MLK Day of Service

VU PHL is partnering with Sisters Interacting Through Stitches for their 16th Annual MLK Day of Service – join us!
Sisters Interacting Through Stitches is a diverse group of women who crochet and knit items, that are donated to local, national and international programs.
What we will be doing on Saturday, January 13th, 10AM – 1 PM:
Sisters Interacting Through Stitches and the Wynnefield Library will host their 16th Annual MLK Day of Service Event on January 13, 2024. During the event, we will crochet and knit caps for infants, scarves, and bonding squares, which will be donated to local and national organizations. In addition, we will address issues regarding wellness, education, and social/human justice.

Parking: There is some street parking, paid and metered, as well as a bike rack at the library
Nearby buses routes: 1, 40, 44, 52, 65
Regional Rail: Overbrook Station – Paoli/Thorndale Line then Bus Route 65 (Germantown-Chelton) to City Ave and 54st
