Fairmount Park Conservancy is pleased to present the first-ever film series in the park presented entirely in Spanish (with English subtitles). The family-friendly selection of movies will be accompanied by an all-day food and craft market in the boathouse, featuring the Mercado de Latinas — a vendor collective started during the pandemic to support women entrepreneurs. Process-based artist Eugenio Salas will lead cooking demonstrations on his Communal Griddle** — a fogón-style stove made from waste materials that utilizes upcycled ingredients. In addition to live cooking, the boathouse will have environmental art installations and interactive activities that promise to bring people together through the power of food and art!

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and bring your family, friends, and neighbors. There will be lawn games, live music, prizes, food trucks, and more at ¡CineMÁS! The movie and performances are free. The food trucks and market are pay-as-you-go. We welcome all to join us at this inclusive movie night and market that celebrates the language, traditions, and vibrant cultures of the Spanish-speaking world and the immigrant communities of South Philadelphia.

**The Communal Griddle, winner of ARTisPHL, a public art competition sponsored by The James L. Knight Foundation and the Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation, brings communities together through the power of food. Created by artist Eugenio Salas, the series combines traditional cooking with improvisational design to offer a unique and immersive culinary experience. The Communal Griddle project consists of a series of events hosted in urban gardens and parks, each featuring local community leaders cooking on a stove made from waste materials and utilizing upcycled ingredients. Each event features live cooking, environmental art, and interactive activities.

Fairmount Park Conservancy se complace en presentar el primer ciclo de cine en el parque presentado íntegramente en español (con subtítulos en inglés). La selección de películas para toda la familia irá acompañada de un mercado de comida y artesanía que durará todo el día en el cobertizo para botes. El Mercado de Latinas es un colectivo de vendedores que nació durante la pandemia para apoyar a las mujeres empresarias. El artista Eugenio Salas dirigirá demostraciones culinarias en su Communal Griddle**, una estufa de estilo fogón fabricada con materiales de desecho que utiliza ingredientes reciclados. Además de cocina en vivo, el cobertizo para botes contará con instalaciones de arte medioambiental y actividades interactivas que prometen unir a la gente a través del poder de la comida y el arte.

En ¡CineMÁS! habrá juegos sobre el césped, música en directo, premios, camiones de comida y mucho más. La película y las actuaciones son gratuitas. Los camiones de comida y el mercado son de pago. Damos la bienvenida a todos a unirse a nosotros en esta noche de cine inclusivo y el mercado que celebra el idioma, las tradiciones y las culturas vibrantes de la comunidad latina y los inmigrantes del sur de Filadelfia.

**The Communal Griddle, ganador de ARTisPHL, es un concurso de arte público patrocinado por The James L. Creada por el artista Eugenio Salas, la serie combina la cocina tradicional con el diseño improvisado para ofrecer una experiencia culinaria única y envolvente. El proyecto Communal Griddle consiste en una serie de actos organizados en jardines y parques urbanos, cada uno de ellos con líderes de la comunidad local cocinando en un hornillo fabricado con materiales de desecho y utilizando ingredientes reciclados. • Movies will take place on the central lawn between the Swedish Museum and the boathouse.
• The market will take place inside and around the FDR Park boathouse.
• Minors should be accompanied by an adult.
• There will be bathrooms (porta-potties) available nearby.
• Feel free to bring your own food and drink.
• Bring water and bug spray.
• There will be food trucks at each event, accepting cash, cards, and Venmo.
• Bring your own blankets/lawn chairs.

• Las películas tendrán lugar en el césped central entre el Museo Sueco y el cobertizo para botes.
• El mercado tendrá lugar dentro y alrededor del cobertizo para botes del Parque FDR.
• Los menores deben ir acompañados de un adulto.
• Habrá baños (baños portátiles) en las inmediaciones.
• Siéntase libre de traer su propia comida y bebida.
• Llevar agua y repelente de insectos.
• Habrá camiones de comida en cada evento, aceptando dinero en efectivo o tarjeta / Venmo.
• Trae tus propias mantas/sillas de jardín.

PARKING/GETTING THERE: There is plenty of free parking available. As always, NEVER leave valuables in your car! FDR Park I can be reached by public transportation using SEPTA Broad Street Line’s NRG Station (last stop). There’s an Indego Bike Share station at Broad & Pattison.

APARCAMIENTO/CÓMO LLEGAR: Hay un montón de aparcamiento gratuito disponible. Como siempre, NUNCA deje objetos de valor en el coche. Se puede llegar al Parque FDR en transporte público utilizando la estación NRG de la línea Broad Street de SEPTA (última parada). Hay una estación de Indego Bike Share en Broad & Pattison
