The Preservation Project

In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the March on Washington we’ve teamed up with the phenomenal Philadelphia Printworks to create this special capsule collection. The Preservation Project will feature special edition commemorative tee-shirts available in store to purchase at Blk Ivy Thrift. All proceeds will be split evenly between Philadelphia Printworks and Blk Ivy Thrift as we are equal partners in creating The Preservation Project.

As we gear up for the collection going live, we’re hosting a collection launch party on Saturday, September 2nd from 2pm-6pm at 3605 Lancaster Avenue. Join us for a live-screen printing activation led by Philadelphia Printworks, conversations with the founders and of course a handful of commemorative tees available in-store.

And if you’re looking for ways to engage with the project before the launch be sure to check out our “We Demand” Campaign, installed by the talented street artist, Symone Salib! You can find the “We Demand” Campaign in North Philly at 18th & Fairmount and Broad & Spring Garden; in South Philly at Broad & Wharton; and in West Philly at 33rd & Powelton.
