In this workshop, we will explore the important role of soil as the foundation of all life while creating a take-home trinket bowl.
In this workshop, we will explore the important role of soil as the foundation of all life while creating a take-home trinket bowl made with leaf, flower, and other natural object imprints. We’ll talk about the utilization of clay throughout many cultures and work on a mindfulness exercise while collecting plant materials to press into our clay trinket bowls. We will also discuss the potential cognitive, sensory, physical, emotional and educational benefits of horticultural therapy practices through workshops such as this, and how you can further introduce nature and natural practices into your everyday routine to help lower stress, fatigue, and anxiety.
