DESCRIPTION:Register\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin the Fall 2024 Walk Around Philadelphia!\nWe’ll be setting out to explore the city’s edge counterclockwise over four weekends in September. \nPLEASE REGISTER INDIVIDUALLY for EACH segment that you plan to attend. \nMore info:\nWalk Guidelines & Frequently Asked Questions \nRegister for this segment:\nWalk on Sunday Sept 29th\, 12pm\, from the Navy Yard towards Penn’s Landing.\nMeet outside of the Gatehouse Café (4503 S Broad St\, Philadelphia\, PA 19112)\, but they’ll be closed Sundays so make sure you’ve had or brought lunch! \nThis segment includes a finish line celebration at Cherry Street Pier – invite your friends & family to head 5-7pm to find us at the finish line! \nThis segment is estimated to take roughly 10 miles and 5-7hrs. The terrain includes potential for big roundabout detour adventures and/or bushwhacking\, but mostly roads and sidewalks. \nYour mileage\, terrain and endpoint may vary depending on choices made by your group; you can always choose to walk a partial segment & depart / get picked up along the way. \nGetting to/from the start & finish:\nUsing SEPTA to access departure and end locations is highly recommended. See the FAQ. \nRegistration fees & contributions:\nWalk event fees cover some of the administrative and logistical costs associated with facilitating the walk and helping make this experience more accessible to others. Please contribute the amount that feels accessible to you. \nNOTE: Event fees and contributions made through this website are not tax deductible.
