DESCRIPTION:Meeting at Houston Playground (see location on Google maps here)\nRegardless of where you park\, be sure to refrain from leaving any valuables in your car.\nThere may be limited bathroom access during the service day.\nWould you like to be part of keeping Wissahickon Valley Park beautiful and sustainable? Then join us in Houston Meadow for a variety of stewardship tasks!\nAll are welcome to attend\, and no experience is needed. We encourage attendees to work within their own comfort level\, and we always strive to accommodate needs on an individual basis. With that being said\, this service day may include the following activities:\n• Trail work: using long-handled tools\, moving heavy objects\n• Invasive plant removal: bending over\, using long handled tools\n• Litter clean-up\n• Repetitive motions\nWe provide gloves\, tools\, and instruction–you just need to show up! Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants\, and remember to bring water with you. Detailed information and confirmation of the meeting location will be sent by email the day before the event.
