SUMMARY:Guided Walk at the Great Marsh Institute with Philadelphia Mycology Club
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Great Marsh Institute for a guided walk through the forests and roadside wetlands. \n**This event is free and open to everyone. The PMC is funded entirely through donations. If you are able\, please consider giving an amount of your choice at checkout* \nMeet at in the upper parking lot (we’ll put out signage!) After a brief introduction\, we’ll hit the trails. GMI is a small non-profit aiming to expand programming and stewardship programs. Trails are challenging in elevation and not well marked\, so for this event\, it will be best to stay with a the group. \nBack at the environmental center\, we’ll set up an ID table and have some snacks while we discuss what was found. \nClose-toed shoes and long pants are recommended due to poison ivy and ticks. Children are welcome to attend. Dogs are also welcome\, but we ask you to keep them on leash at all times. \nThis event is free and open to everyone. The PMC is funded entirely through donations\, and you are encouraged to make a donation if you are able\, via paypal using our email: info@phillymycoclub.com \nBy registering for this event you grant the Philadelphia Mycology Club to use photographs and/or video of you taken at the event in publications\, online\, and in other communications related to the Philadelphia Mycology Club.
