This hands-on experience is designed to empower you with the knowledge of local plants\, teach you how to forage ethically\, and explore the Indigenous ecological wisdom that has guided humans in living in harmony with nature for generations. \nREGISTER HERE \nIn this workshop\, you will: \nIdentify local plants for food and medicine: Learn how to recognize a variety of plants that can be used for culinary and medicinal purposes. You’ll gain an understanding of their roles in the ecosystem\, how to harvest them sustainably\, and the many benefits they offer for your health and well-being. \nForage ethically and responsibly: Understand the key principles of ethical foraging\, including how to harvest in a way that respects plant populations and the environment. We’ll cover important practices like sustainable collection and leaving no trace\, ensuring that the plants remain abundant for future generations. \nExplore Indigenous ecological knowledge: Gain insight into the deep ecological wisdom of Indigenous cultures\, discovering how they’ve coexisted with and cared for the land for thousands of years.
