DESCRIPTION:Give\, take and swap fabrics at STITCH AND DESTROY!\n\n\nAre you a fabric hoarder? Learning to sew? Want free fabric?? \nVisit STITCH AND DESTROY for our first Fabric Swap! Give\, take and swap your pre-loved or unused fabric yardage and cuttings\, and become inspired to sew your next project. Drop off and take home fabrics at any time during event hours. \nFabric yardage and cuttings MUST BE AT LEAST 1 FOOT in length or width. No small scraps! Fabrics must be clean\, washed\, and free of smells and pet hair. We will NOT be accepting clothing\, bedding\, linens\, towels\, or blankets- save these items for our upcoming Clothing Swaps. All fabrics will be inspected by STITCH AND DESTROY staff and it is at their discretion to accept the fabrics for the swap. If not accepted\, fabrics will be returned to owner. You will be asked to sort your items when you arrive into our categorized sections. Don’t forget to bring a bag! \nYou do not need to bring fabric to take fabric! This is a FREE event. RSVP ticket not required. Any fabrics brought to the swap and not taken during the event are considered donated to STITCH AND DESTROY. \n \nSTITCH AND DESTROY is located in Philadelphia at 523 S 4th St. We are an upcycled alternative fashions studio and store- creating clothing from textile waste\, selling local recycled wares\, and hosting sewing workshops. We host mulitple Craft Supply Swaps\, Clothing Swaps\, and Fabric Swaps. There are 4 steps of stairs to enter the studio space. \nSTITCH AND DESTROY is located right off of South Street on 4th St in Philadelphia. Our address is 523 S 4th St. Philadelphia\, PA 19147. \nThere is limited metered street parking on our block and in this area it can be difficult to find parking. We suggest taking public transportation- Bus 40\, 57\, 12\, 47\, 42 and 21 are nearby. The Market-Frankford Line 5th St stop is 7 blocks away.
