DESCRIPTION:Experience the fungi of Washington Crossing with experienced volunteers of the NJ Mycology Association.\n\n\nMeet at the Nature Center by 10 AM for a short introduction to the fungi of New Jersey followed by a hike around fungi rich sections of the park. In total\, this program will last about 2 hours and the walking portion will travel up to 1.5 miles. \nThere will be no foraging for fungi on this outing\, but all questions to our guides are welcomed!

DESCRIPTION:Join the WCPA Conservation Crew for a forest restoration project along the historic Continental Lane trail!\n\n\nLocation: Meet us at the small parking lot on the left\, just past the State Park’s main entrance. \nJoin the WCPA Conservation Crew for a forest restoration project along the historic Continental Lane trail!We will use hand tools to remove invasive plants that threaten the forest ecosystem. The more invasive plants we clear now\, the more native seedlings we can plant in 2026. Come lend a hand! \nAges 16+. No experience necessary. Bring work gloves and loppers if you have them. We will provide extra gloves and tools.
