Bring your Grandparents\, family\, and friends for a hike that honors those special people in our lives who make us who we are. This is a time to connect with your community and invest care in our health and wellness. This hike is open to everyone\, we hope you’ll join us!\nPlease note: this event will be recorded. Please fill out the photo waiver here.\nIn order to attend participants must print and sign this waiver from Hike+Heal. Please bring it\, completed\, to the event. We will have copies on the day of the event if you are unable to print the waiver yourself.\nRegistration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations.\nUnless otherwise specified\, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky\, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks. Walks are cancelled in heavy rain or icy conditions. Service animals are always welcome. Beech Leaf Disease is a problem just beginning in the Wissahickon Park.  He will discuss this serious new threat to the American Beech\, a major component of our forest.  He will also discuss the Department’s campaign again the Emerald Ash Borer and the successes they are seeing.   Soup\, pastries\, and drinks will be for sale.
