SUMMARY:Basketry Basics and Brews at Tannery Run
DESCRIPTION:Come  craft and create at this Basketry Basics workshop at Tannery Run! Make a basket\, have a drink\, leave with a treasure!\n\n\nCome on out for a lovely afternoon of learning and crafting with natural materials and ejoy a free beer / cider/ seltzer om the house! This workshop will guide participants through the basics of making a simple basket with natural materials. Few experiences compare to learning and utilizing ancient human skills to create something personal that’ll last for ages! Finished products can be taken home and used as: \n\nnatural container for precious objects\nhome decor\nbio-degradable planter\nmost organic koozie at the barbeque\nand so much more!\n\nThe goal of this workshop is to help raise funds for Coyote Tracks Programs Scholarship Fund\, which annually provides thousands of dollars to local youth and families so they can participate in Nature Connection programming. In addition\, we hope this offering can bring community members together around a central theme\, while simultaneously supporting local business ! \nAges : Ideal for ages 8 and up\, but families with younger folks can join and all create one basket together. \nCost: $50 per person \nTime : 2 hours\, 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm
