DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Revival Walk through Tacony Creek Park in the Olney where we will honor the sun and nature.\n\n\nThe Revival Walks bring healing\, solace and joy to participants\, as facilitators lift up Afro-centric practices in order to rebalance our relationship to the natural world. Join us once a month on a Saturday (except August) for a journey through Tacony Creek Park in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia where we will honor the sun\, wind\, trees\, birds and nature. Mama Carla will share stories illuminating our place in community with one another and with our natural environment. Additional artists will bring their talents to add breadth and depth to the holistic engagement. Participants will also assist in removing trash along the way as an act of reciprocity to this important space. \nJoin us for one day or the full series below. \nOctober 14th : Melissa Talley\, Dancer Extraordinaire. How do we keep the heart beating?  We will explore the heartbeat of our existence\, reciprocity and creation through movement. Accompanied by Matthew Palmer\, Percussionist.
