Tasks will be assigned based on the needs of the Clinic.\nRegister Now\nCleaning materials and personal protective equipment\, such as gloves and masks\, are provided. Volunteers should wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Clinic Cleaners will not be working directly with animals or have access to patient areas.\nClinic Cleaners must be at least 18 years old to sign up and are required to watch the Wildlife Clinic Training video prior to participating. Due to limited space\, we are unable to accept walk-ins.\nCan’t make this date but want to attend an upcoming event? SUMMARY:Restoration Workday at the Wildlife Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Help us to improve the health and biodiversity of our forest while getting to know our vast\, 365 acres of protected land! \nDuring this Restoration Workday\, we will meet at the Schuylkill Center Wildlife Clinic (304 Port Royal Avenue | Philadelphia\, PA 19128) to work on our stewardship plots and prepare our front garden for a new habitat planting. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to learn more about plant identification and restoration techniques while connecting with nature and other members of your community.  \nDetails: \nNo experience necessary. We recommend wearing long pants and sturdy boots and bringing a pair of gloves if you have them available. We will have a selection of gloves if needed\, along with tools\, water\, and snacks! Please bring your own water bottle. Registration recommended to stay up to date in case of inclement weather. Volunteer workdays will be rescheduled in the event of severe weather.\n \n
