DESCRIPTION:Mothers\, gather your family and meet us beneath the trees for our 4th Annual family wellness retreat.\n\n\n\nBlack Girls With Green Thumbs calls mothers from across the Philadelphia region to gather together to release and unwind. \nOn Saturday\, September 21st  we invite you and your children to immerse yourself in nature for the 4th Annual  They Didn’t Know We Were Seeds: Family Wellness Retreat. \nAt the retreat you and your family will: \n\nbe free to let go\nnurture curiosity\nbreak through loneliness\n\nTogether with other women and their children\, you will enjoy a beautiful day of restoration and exploration in the woodlands of Philadelphia. During this wellness retreat\, families will engage in activities together and apart while enjoying the outdoors: \n\nYoga\nAfrican dance & drumming\nNature walk\nPlant-based cooking class\n\n…and more! \n\n\n\nThey Didn’t Know We Were Seeds is open to mothers\, children of all ages (best suited for school age)\, expectant mothers\, grandmothers\, and other female guardians or caretakers. \nChildren 4 and under must be accompanied by parent/guardian or responsible older sibling/family member during child-centered activities.
