SUMMARY:Annual Harvest Dinner @ Reinhard Street
DESCRIPTION:Join Reinhard Street Community Farm & Kitchen for our annual harvest dinner block party!\n\n\nWelcome to Reinhard Street Community Farm & Kitchen’s Annual Harvest Dinner! Join us for a delightful evening filled with delicious dishes prepared by community members and a short documentary screening featuring farm stewards and neighbors. \nArrive early to explore our plots\, see what we are growing\, and learn how to get involved in our work to increase access to nutritious food in Southwest Philadelphia. Enjoy music performed by musician Black Buttafly\, while experiencing an array of cuisines cooked by our community members who use ingredients grown right here at the farm. \nStay for an important land justice conversation led by a panel of local community members and growers in Southwest Philadelphia. \nAfter sunset\, we will have a fine-cut screening of The Seeds We Carry\, a short documentary directed by our media artist-in-residence\, Gabrielle Patterson. The film depicts intimate portraits of some of our community farm stewards who find home\, belonging\, and cross-cultural connections as they grow\, cook\, and share food here in Southwest Philadelphia. \nBring your family\, friends\, and neighbors for a night you don’t want to miss. We’ll see you there! \n——— \nIf you are interested in vending or sponsoring this event\, please contact us at info@reinhardstreet.org. \n——— \nThis is a FREE event! But donations are appreciated. \nThis Eventbrite will be updated closer to the event date\, so look out for updates. \nPhotos by Peach Plum Pear Photo and Jose Mazariegos.
