DESCRIPTION:Meeting at Regal UA Main Street (3720 Main Street)\nParking: There should be plenty of parking in the theater lot. Our location is serviced by the Manayunk/Norristown regional rail and the 9\, 27\, 61\, and 62 buses. See map for details.\nBathrooms: We’ll stop to use the restrooms at the Cosmic Cafe about a quarter of the way through our ride.\nDistance: 17 miles\nkAudience: Ages 18+\nJoin Trail Ambassadors Lisa Kleiman\, Jean McWilliams\, Doug Gibson\, and Dave Cohen for a 2-wheeled cruise along the Schuylkill River! We’ll meet in Manayunk and then pedal across the Wissahickon Creek\, down Kelly Drive past the art museum\, along Schuylkill Banks and over the newest section – those cool cable-supported biker/walker bridges right in the river. The return will take us past the art museum and then on MLK Drive and over the Falls Bridge. Total distance: about 17 miles. We guarantee terrific views and river breezes the whole way!\nRegistration is required for all events so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations. Unless otherwise specified\, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky\, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks.
