SUMMARY:National Day of Service and Remembrance
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, September 12\, join communities across the country as we honor the nearly\n3\,000 lives lost on September 11\, 2001\, and pay tribute to the first responders and\nservice members who answered the call in the days that followed.\nIn partnership with the National Cemetery Administration\, the National Day of Service\nand Remembrance brings volunteers together at more than 140 participating national\,\ngrant-funded\, and local cemeteries across the country.\nVolunteers will help clean headstones and beautify these sacred grounds in tribute to\nour military members\, veterans\, first responders\, and their families.\nRegistration is free\, but required.
