DESCRIPTION:Saturdays in the Park is a safe\, welcoming space for community members to engage in activities that promote physical and mental wellness.\n\n\nSaturdays In The Park is a program of regular pop-ups in the community green space to provide community members with opportunities to reduce stress\, increase connection\, build skills and connect with community resources. By offering these pop-ups in coordination with Southside Clean Up events\, we can continue to build community connections\, nurture relationships\, and streamline access to services\, all of which are shown to be effective mitigators of stress\, anxiety\, depression and trauma. \nWe will have snacks\, water\, art supplies and fun\, gentle activities for all to enjoy!  \n-—  \nThis program was made possible in part by Southside Tomorrow\, a 6-year revitalization program of Community Action Development Bethlehem and the City of Bethlehem\, with support from: Univest Bank & Trust Co.\, Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley\, People’s Security Bankand Trust\, PPL Electric Utilities\, and Provident Bank. \n-—  \nThis event is FREE and open to the public.  \n-— \nSchedule of Reset Outdoors Park Pop Ups:\nJuly 1\, 2023 @ Martin Luther King Park 433 Carlton Ave \nJuly 22\, 2023 @ Yosko Park 6th and Atlantic Streets \nAug 19\, 2023 @ Donegan Elementary School 1210 E 4th Street \nSep 23\, 2023 @ Madison Park 609 Ontario Street \nOct 21\, 2023 @ McNamara Park 1100 Block of East 3rd Street \n \nPlus join us for Saturday Community Cleanups!  \nCommunity Action Development Bethlehem is partnering with some of our local businesses and organizations for a series of cleanups community cleanups one Saturday per month from April through November 2023.
