DESCRIPTION:Meeting at the Bells Mill Road East Parking Lot (see map here)\nParking is available at our meeting location or further up Bells Mill at the Forbidden Drive Upper Parking Lot.\nThere are porta-potties available for use on Forbidden Drive near our meeting location.\nThis hike is a part of our All Trails Challenge (ATC) hike series\, presented by Newrez LLC\, geared for Challengers to rack up miles and explore different areas of the park on each hike. Join us for all 15 parts and you’re well on your way to hitting all 50+ miles of trails in Wissahickon Valley Park. Not a Challenger? No problem. This hike is open to the public.\nEnjoy the lovely and little-known Lavender Trail in the north of the park!\nDistance: 2.4 miles\nRegistration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations.\nUnless otherwise specified\, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky\, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks.
