SUMMARY:Noon Bird Walks at Houston Meadow
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a guided bird walk in Houston Meadow during lunchtime ! All levels of birders welcome.\n\n\nWhile our building is closed\, bird walks have been moved to Houston Meadow. Enjoy a guided bird walk in the Houston Meadow during lunchtime. Late fall/winter is an excellent time for birding\, as the Wissahickon is host to many boreal forest species like juncos\, sparrows\, and spasuckers. If it’s too cold\, we will stay inside and watch the feeders. We will not hike if it is actively raining or snowing. However\, join us on the porch to watch the feeders. Walks vary in length from 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs.
